Baby Moon in Paris
Last weekend we were in Paris for 3 days, probably our last trip just the 2 of us for a while. It was fun! I had my good sneakers on and Lucian’s rain jacket – the only jacket I can fully zip up now – and we walked, we walked everywhere, and when I was too tired we stopped to rest on a bench, like this one in the Tuileries garden where we fell asleep in the sun:) I especially liked the Marais arrondissement with its cute streets full of shops and inviting restaurants, the Orsay museum with all the amazing paintings by Monet, Sisley, Van Gogh and many others. The petit Palais is also well worth the detour, along with the Ile Saint-Louis and Notre-Dame, without forgetting St-Germain, and I loved walking alongside the Seine banks.
We also stopped to say hello to my cousin Anne Marie who now lives in Paris, she took us for a stroll around the Champs-de-Mars, the gardens at the bottom of the Eiffel tower. It was baby’s first trip to Paris and I hope she enjoyed it as much as we did!
