Our little conductor

That's lily when she starts to get upset and fussy: one minute she's sleeping or looking around and the next she starts to move her arms up in the air as if she'd be conducting an orchestra or directing a movie and we know what's coming next...louds screams and we better get the pacifier and take her in our arms or start rocking vigorously or else she's giving the concert all by herself. Things are still tough in the sleep department -- she's not a sleeper like her mom or at least not now. Of course i had to bump into another mom who was in my birth class and who told me how her girl sleeps from 11:30pm to 7am: i'm not about to talk to her again!:) it's difficult to say not having any other children to compare her to but i'd say she's not a mellow baby, i wouldn't say she's not an intense need baby either but somewhere in the middle. She definitely has her fussy hyper moments but usually holding her in my arms will do the trick. Last night both her and i fell asleep after the 4:30am nursing session and i woke up 1 hr 1/2 later with her sleeping on my chest and my arms asleep from holding her. Those moments are so sweet, i can't have enough of them...

love these updates marie. now that i am coming out of the 2 week fog, i'll have to ping you on IM so we can catch up. our little man is a sleeper (thankfully) and so far seems to be pretty mellow except for when he wants to eat, when he then as we say, loses his s***. isn't it an amazing journey? will be updating the blog so it's more private for family and friends. for now, it's locked so i can update it. lol. much love, look forward to chatting soon.

xoxo
