Cheeky girly

Lily is now 8 months and 2 weeks old exactly.

  • She still has the biggest cheeks in the world:)

  • Her favorite thing is to sit -or stand. She doesn't like to be on her tummy which makes it tough for crawling but i guess she may not crawl before walking as the pediatrician told me.

  • Besides "dadda" she's also trying a "boa" bboa" sound. She vocalizes a lot especially in her bed in the morning. She has the cutest little bird voice. Oh and of course she make tons of bubbles and rapsberries with her mouth (still wonder why they are called this way btw)

  • She now eats a veggie and meat/fish puree for lunch. So far we've tried chicken, turkey and some fish. And she has a mashed fruits puree in the afternoon with a bit of milk. The other two meals in the morning and evening are a combo of breast and bottle milk.

  • She gets fed the two main meals in a high chair now which is a bit of an adventure given how easily distracted she can be, either looking around, moving from one side to the other, playing with my watch, or trying to grab her food bowl or the spoon.

  • She does this super cute shake of the head, especially when she hears music. Bouncing her head from one side to the other while smiling, i just love it!

  • She now loves to sleep with her teddy bear goldy. It's so funny watching her play with that bear! she will pull her over her face, move her upside down and shake her up in the air like a puppet.

  • The best part of my day is still getting her up in the morning. I can see her little legs start moving and kicking up and down as soon as she hears someone enters the room and she has the biggest, most wonderful smile on her face when i look at her, it's just incredible!
